Style Inspiration for New Year Running Resolutions
Ignite your imagination with Iffley Road’s Instagrammers
Did you make a New Year running resolution? Whether you were looking to start running, challenge yourself with a race, beat your personal best or simply switch up your route, the new year will have no doubt inspired you to follow a new track or trail.
This month we teamed up with ten emerging Instagrammers and tasked them with showing us their own New Year Running Resolution, drawing inspiration from Iffley Road’s belief that running should be free, uncomplicated and beautiful.
Sporting their favourite colour way of our classic striped running t-shirts, the Iffley Road Instagrammers delivered some super stylish shots that are guaranteed to make you reach for your trainers and follow in their footsteps.
First up, Suffolk based lifestyle blogger @christophergc and luxe interiors loving @robert_morgan revealed their ultimate running essentials, placing their coveted Iffley Road t-shirt alongside their favourite fitness must haves. Check out their shots for ultimate shopping inspiration, perfect for those prepping to take on an active challenge.
Speaking of challenges, @willsebastian gave us a sneak peek into his new fitness regime as he prepares to take on his first ever triathlon in April. Proving you can do anything you put your mind to, the broadcaster, filmmaker and lifestyle blogger has been getting his body in shape to tackle the swim, cycle and run event full throttle.
The ever dapper @discerningman and London-based style influencer @luzynsky both showcased some serious fashion credentials by pairing their striped tees with cosy knitted beanies as they limbered up for their run.
Finally, it was Chinese fashion and eyewear designer @itsvictorwong who pushed the boundaries with his urban inspired balancing act. We can’t get enough of his edgy shot! With its almost parkour take on running through the city, London has never looked better. Proving that even the most metropolitan of places can feel peaceful when looked at from the right angle.
Whether you’re hitting the track, treadmill, path or pavement – we hope this image round up will fire up your own imagination when it comes to switching up your running routine for 2017. Set yourself a goal this January, and don’t forget to pick up one of our Training Logs to keep track of your progress.
Oh, and don’t forget to share your own snaps on Instagram using the hashtag #NewYearNewRun! We can’t wait to see where the year takes you.
