SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
From day one we set out to manufacture as sustainably as possible. One of the best ways to achieve this is to produce locally. We primarily use factories in Portugal and the UK and buy almost all our fabrics from Europe. Rest assured that your Iffley Road kit won’t have clocked up more miles than you’ll run in it!
Using more sustainable fabrics is also important, and we are switching ever more of our production to recycled and/or organic yarns. Making clothing that is built to last is probably the best thing manufacturers can do for the environment, and we hope you’ll enjoy wearing your Iffley Road kit for many years.
ETHICAL MANUFACTURE
With the constant demand for cheap goods all clothing companies really need to know about the working conditions in their factories.
So we visit our factories regularly and can guarantee they provide a good working environment, reasonable hours and fair wages. This applies to their full time staff and any subcontractors. We will never use sweatshops.
